Sai­ja Tan­hu­an­pää

Te­ac­her of your par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on cour­se is Sai­ja Tan­hu­an­pää from Rau­ma. Mot­her of two adult child­ren and grand­mot­her of five lo­ve­ly school-going child­ren. I´ve been ac­ti­ve all my life: first wor­king with child­ren Kin­der­gar­ten as a te­ac­her and chef, then litt­le bit stu­dies (ac­tu­al­ly all the time) and af­ter stu­dies con­sul­ting Ear­ly Child­hood Edu­ca­ti­on te­ac­hers in Rau­ma. Then I was wor­king as a pro­ject plan­ner in the area of four mu­ni­ci­pa­li­ties (one was Rau­ma). We were wor­king to­get­her with 50 pro­fes­si­o­nals to cre­a­te a Fa­mi­ly cen­ter to Rau­ma – it star­ted to work af­ter three ye­ars af­ter plan­ning. Du­ring the chal­len­ging time in this pro­ject my in­te­rest to­wards par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on rai­sed and I made a re­se­arch plan to the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tur­ku e.g. star­ted to make my dis­ser­ta­ti­on.

2018–2021 I was wor­king as pro­ject ma­na­ger in In­noP­lay -pro­ject de­ve­lo­ping craft and tech­no­lo­gy edu­ca­ti­on. Right now my work is to de­ve­lop stu­dent wel­fa­re ser­vi­ces in the new Sata­kun­ta wel­fa­re area.

My hob­by has been le­a­ding sports and gym­nas­tics to child­ren aged 3–18 (also ai­ki­do and gym­nas­tics for adults) and po­li­tics in all le­vels in a small mu­ni­ci­pa­li­ty of Pyhä­ran­ta whe­re we used to live ear­lier.
